Boutique Boxing focuses on building a technical foundation on top of fitness. We prioritize cardio, footwork, and proper form in our training. This approach stems from a time when fighters were thrown into the ring with little more than brute strength and aggression, leading to an emphasis on survival rather than technique. In those days, there was no focus on foundational skills, weight transfer, or learning the art of boxing; it was about who could outlast the other.

This outdated method of training often promotes brawling and toughness, which can be unhealthy. At Boutique Boxing, we aim to teach boxing in a way that fosters both physical and technical development over the long term. My own journey, training in various forms of Korean Martial Arts, including Tang Soo Do, has reinforced the importance of athletic development and mental toughness, rather than relying on heavy sparring and enduring unnecessary wear and tear.
